How BBL Clear Works
BBL Clear uses a specific blue-light wavelength (approximately 420nm) that is selectively absorbed by porphyrins — molecules naturally produced by Cutibacterium acnes (formerly Propionibacterium acnes), the bacteria primarily responsible for inflammatory acne breakouts.

Is BBL Clear safe if I'm on acne medication?
In most cases, yes. BBL Clear can complement topical and oral acne medications. However, if you are currently on isotretinoin (Accutane), BBL treatments are not recommended until at least 6 months after completing your course. Always disclose your current medications at your consultation so your provider can advise appropriately.
